The truck extension set is an interesting possibility to convert the truck into a tank truck or a turntable ladder for the fire brigade and to build a trailer.
The set includes:
Tank truck with an opening mechanism. A 0.33 l can fits in here
Extendable 3-part fire department ladder on a bogie, length extended approx. 70 cm
Truck trailer: a chassis on wheels, the truck bed can be mounted here
After the tanker and aerial ladder extensions have been assembled, they are mounted on the truck, whereby the platform assembly of the truck must first be removed. The platform body can then be mounted on the chassis, so you get a trailer.
With 3 trucks, an entire car park can be assembled from 3 vehicles: a truck with a platform, a truck as a tank truck, a truck as an aerial ladder and a trailer.
Tanker trucks have a unique opening mechanism. The model has been designed so that a 0.33 l can fits in here. By turning the upper button, the parts of the construction open to the side and the can is pushed up slightly.
Turntable ladder has several control modes, by pressing the lever several times you can lift the ladder. Use the handle to turn the ladder to the right or left. A special ratchet fixes the turntable ladder in the desired position. Now the ladder can be fully extended. At the end of the ladder there is a hook to use it like a crane. As with a large fire engine, our UGEARS model also has a small ladder on the side. Here the fireman can quickly get on the truck.
Trailer has real-life leaf suspension, which springs while driving. The trailer has a stand under the drawbar so that it can be parked independently of the truck.
The model, like all other UGEARS models, is assembled without adhesive.
