The most popular passenger car usually associated with the German army, in the desert camouflage of the DAK (German Africa Corps). Production of the Kübelwagen Type 82 fell during the war years 1940-1945. Prototypes took part in the aggression against Poland. Series-produced Kübelwagen cars were used during the invasion of France. Since then, the Kübelwagen has been one of the basic vehicles of the Bundeswehr. It was used in all types of troops on all fronts of the war.
From 195 COBI building blocks, you build a military VW Kübelwagen Type 82 passenger car with elements of a matching environment. The model has been reproduced in detail and faithfully reflects the appearance of the prototype. No decals were used in this set. They were replaced by high-quality prints. The prints do not wear off even with intensive playing. The engine is symbolically represented under the rear bonnet. The set contains a figure of a German soldier DAK with protective cloth for the mouth, equipped with an MP-40 submachine gun and a cap with print. The set includes a palm tree, a stone, a barrel and a brick, with the name of the car.
The bucket car is an ideal element for building scenes and historical dioramas recreating any European front of the Second World War. It is also the perfect complement to the COBI strategy game. The manual includes a visualisation of the game map with vehicle statistics.
The model made of COBI bricks will not only be a toy, but will also contribute to the interest in history and motorisation. It will certainly help to develop children's motor skills and improve construction skills. For adult block fans, it will be a beautiful vehicle model and perhaps the start of a future COBI model collection.
