The tractor is powered by a rubber band motor, which is driven by the tension of the rubber that is connected to a bearing. The reduction gear transmits energy to the drive wheel and further to the asymmetrical wheel pair. The pendulum slows down and balances the movement of the tractor. The asymmetry of the pair of wheels gives the model its unique way of moving by mimicking a boat that rocks on the waves. Meanwhile, the work pendulum produces a specific sound that is similar to that of the real diesel engine that many boats are equipped with.
The winding key on the drive wheel is blocked by a ratchet wheel. There are two control levers, one of which stops the mechanism and the other starts it - stop and start levers accordingly. Use two ropes with hooks to attach and transport small bike models or a paper boat. Your tractor will run from 1.5 to 3 meters depending on the type of surface.
