HMS Warspite is a British battleship, one of the most famous and successful ships of the Royal Navy. During its service, the Warspite was often referred to as The Grand Old Lady. She was commissioned in March 1915 during the First World War. She was the second of five Queen Elizabeth-class ships. In service with the British Royal Navy, the Warspite took part in many successful engagements and battles. During World War II, the Warspite supported the artillery bombardment of the Normandy beaches by Allied units as part of Operation Overlord.
The COBI building block model is designed in 1: 300 scale and captures even the smallest details of its historical prototype. The miniature battleship is 64 cm long and 19.5 cm tall! It has many moving components such as on-board guns, rotating artillery turrets, rudders and propellers. Compared to the previous edition, the model has undergone a major facelift with newer and better elements added to more accurately reflect the armament and other details. The number of bricks in the set has also increased significantly. A special display stand with a sign printed with the ship's name is included. The COBI Warspite makes an excellent gift for any history, maritime military or nautical enthusiast and will fit nicely on a desk, bookshelf or collector's shelf.
