Barkas B1000 is a van and minibus which was produced between 1961 and 1991 in the former GDR. It is the only car of this class that was produced in the GDR. Barkas cars were mainly operated in the GDR. The fire engine version was adapted to the needs of the fire brigade.
From the Cobi set of clamping modules with up to 151 elements you build a Barkas car in the fire brigade version. The model was faithfully reproduced in 1:35 scale. The set completely dispensed with stickers. The building blocks are covered with high quality prints, which do not fade even when the fun is intense. The kit has a well thought-out compact design and movable wheels.
The COBI design stone model will not only be a toy in the children's room, but will also contribute to the interest in the history of the automotive industry. It will certainly help to develop children's motor skills and improve their design skills. For adult fans of clamp-on bricks it will be a beautiful model of the historic vehicle and perhaps the beginning of the future collection.
